db-action-agent
A read-only natural-language database agent: ask a question in English, get a summary and,
when useful, a Vega-Lite chart spec. The agent runs a bounded ReAct loop over three tools
(get_schema, execute_read_only_sql, generate_chart) against a Pagila Postgres database.
Its design goal is containment, not cleverness: model-written SQL passes an AST guard, runs as a SELECT-only role, inside a read-only transaction with a 3000 ms timeout, and the loop stops after 8 tool calls or 3 consecutive tool errors, saying so instead of inventing an answer.
Status: v0.1.0 code complete, not yet released. No LLM-driven evaluation has been run, so there are no accuracy, latency or cost numbers.
